SocialDiabetes becomes your Follower to retrieve your FreeStyle data!
We connect you as a ‘Follower’ using LibreLinkUp, so you can be in control of the data you share and for how long you share it.
This process is completely reversible; you decide to continue sharing your data with us or not.
Steps to integrate FreeStyle with SocialDiabetes
Step 1: Access your FreeStyle account settings
Open the FreeStyle Libre app (LibreLink or Libre 3).
Access the side menu (three lines on the top left).
Select the Account Settings option.
Step 2: Copy the email address associated with your account
On the settings screen, you will see the email associated with your FreeStyle account.
Copy this email address; you will need it later.
Step 3: Connect LibreLinkUp with SocialDiabetes
Go back to the side menu and select Connected Applications.
Choose the LibreLinkUp option and click Connect.
Step 4: Add the connection
Enter the email you copied in step 2 in the appropriate field.
Click on Add connection.
Step 5: Setup in SocialDiabetes
Log in to the SocialDiabetes app and go to the Connect Device section.
In the Continuous Monitors tab, select FreeStyle Libre and follow the instructions.
In the FreeStyle Libre Connection screen, enter the email address (the same as in point 2) and password of the user you have registered in your FreeStyle app.
Step 6: Confirm the connection
When the connection is complete, you will see a confirmation message in SocialDiabetes indicating that everything is ready.
Click Finish to complete the process.
And that’s it! Your FreeStyle account is now connected to SocialDiabetes, and you can start monitoring your data with ease.
